Do you believe in love at the first sight? Julie Baker does. Firstly met when Bryce Loski moved into new neighbourhood, Julie knew that Bryce is her true love. Unfortunately, Bryce didn’t feel the same. He avoided Julie for many years. Bryce even dated the finest girl in school just to get rid of Julie. Of course Julie didn’t give up- according to Bryce, Julie was an annoying and annoying girl in the neighbourhood. When Bryce broke up with the girl, she knew that she got the chance to take Bryce back.
Back then, in their neighbourhood, there was a big sycamore tree that Julie loved so much and no one knew why. Another misfortune for Julie, the tree must be cut down by the order of its owner. Julie was so sad that she refused to go to school trough the place where her beautiful sycamore tree used to be in. She did that for weeks and she even forgot about Bryce. Couldn’t bear to see his daughter felt in a long sadness, Julie’s father gave her a painting –his own made- of her beautiful sycamore tree.
After a while, Julie did a really fantastic job in farming. She had chickens that spawned lots of eggs. Julie and her mother had tried lots of recipes they watched on tv, but still, they had a lot of eggs to share. So Julie decided to sell the eggs to Mrs Stuby, and she thought that Mrs Loski – for her kindness- deserved some eggs too. Besides, she could meet Bryce, and that’s not the end of the world. haha
Bryce and his family didn’t take the eggs well. They were afraid of Salmonella, therefore, they asked Bryce to return the eggs to Julie. Bryce was too afraid- either he was afraid of Julie or afraid to hurt Julie’s feeling- to return the eggs. Bryce threw the eggs away right after Julie gave them. One fine morning, Julie found out that Bryce has been throwing away her eggs. Julie was so sad and avoided Bryce.
As the story goes, their story gets more and more complicated. Starting from Bryce insulting Julie’s backyard that was a terrible mess and became a joke in the neighbourhood, Chet –Bryce’s grandfather has an interest on July that remained him of his wife-, and another awesome story in the line.
In the end, Bryce went to apology. But July- with all her heartbreak- refused to see him. Bryce didn’t give up, he gave the best apology as well as the best ending to this beautiful movie.
This movie is highly recommended. I have watched it for thousand times and I can never get enough of it. All the aspects about this movie are awesome. You should watch it sometimes fellas! It worth your time!
