“on the day he unveiled the Macintosh, a reporter from Popular Science asked Jobs what type of marker research he had done. Jobs responded by scoffing, ‘Did Alexander Graham Bell do any market research before he invented telephone?’” – Walter Isaacson
I love reading inspiring books and this book is one of them. I read it last year when my sister borrowed it from the library she works for. I thought I would never going to finish that book, but turns out, I couldn’t stop reading until the last page.
Steve Jobs by Isaac is a really good book. It consists of some interview from Steve jobs- the founder of Apple Inc. This book is about the life of Jobs from when he’s a baby until the last day of his life. This book pays attention to the tiny little detail that any website about Jobs doesn’t. Besides, the author of this book doesn’t interview Jobs only, but also all the friends, crews, enemy, family, and even his ex wife.
This book begins with the story when Jobs was a baby boy who is adopted by Paul Jobs. He wasn’t raised in a well being family, but he get a full affection from his parents. Paul Jobs teaches little Jobs about engineer and he found himself interested in that field.
Jobs is a drop out student, he is genius but he isn’t that success in school. Then, he tries his fortune in computer world. Long story short, he gets his passion in this field and he builds Apple. In this book the author not merely talks about how Jobs build his company, but also the religious life of Jobs. Steve learns about life and religious life in India, he spends many years there. This book also talks about Jobs career in Pixar, LISA and his love life.
This book is highly recommended. You should read this book with patient and passion, haha. Just kidding. This book worth your time!
